Welcome to Bee Natural, where the magic of bees meets the art of wellness. We are located in the heart of the Caribbean – Commonwealth of Dominica also known as The Nature Island.
How we began
Bee Natural was founded in 2018, by Terri Henry-Lovell after hurricane Maria forced a change in direction with her service based business. She decided to combine a lifelong passion for natural wellness with a new found obsession with bees and dive into making products. She started with a lip balm and grew from there.
Bee Natural is now a multi-award-winning Caribbean brand whilst also remaining a handmade, family business. We are dedicated to creating high-quality, natural products which all include the incredible resources of the hive – Beeswax, Honey, and Propolis.
From luxurious lip balms to nourishing body balms and refreshing deodorants, our diverse range of handmade-from-the-hive products bring the benefits of nature to all our amazing customers who want to use real natural products.
Becoming a beekeeper then marrying one!
In 2022 Terri did a training course in beekeeping as part of a Rotary Club/ Isra-Aid project to support new beekeepers.On completion she received her first nucleus colony and asked a local Beekeeper, Nathaniel Lovell of Bee Api to help her make a video moving the nucleus colony to a larger hive on World Bee Day – May 20th. That was the start of a buzzing professional and personal relationship and the bee couple married in May 2024!

Terri’s daughter was just ten years old when Bee Natural began. She’s skilled in many areas of the business and shines as a superstar at events.

Powerhouse Production Assistant
Junica is punctual, precise, and positive. She assists with pouring, packaging, and is our ultimate clean-up champion with pure hive energy!

Admin assistant extraordinaire
Chriamie is multi-talented, juggling a diverse administrative workload with a personality that’s sweet as honey!

Winner of numerous awards for his La Vie Miel Honey brand. Nathaniel is the supplier of many of our raw materials and amazing husband to Terri.

Terri’s son likes to stay out of most of the busywork, but when heavy lifting or extra duties come up, he’s always there to help the hive.
Our lives revolve around bees! These amazing little insects produce so many healing resources in their hives and we are dedicated to taking care of them and their environment. More than just products; we’re here to support lifestyles that value health and sustainability. We also offer a garden bee tour for visitors and provide free educational experiences to local schools.
